Leah is Chief Portfolio Talent Officer at Balderton Capital, where she provides consultative support on strategic people, organizational and cultural challenges for their portfolio companies as they scale.

Prior to joining Balderton, Leah led global human resources at Elastic (ESTC) where she led them through 10x people growth, including an IPO and six acquisitions. She has a passion for helping founders think about hiring and developing their leadership teams and scaling their organizations

Prior to Elastic, she led HR at Plum Organics, held various roles at Bloom Energy (BE), and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa. Leah has also served on the Board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and Hidden Villa.

An adventurer at heart, Leah’s happiest when playing in the mountains with her husband and teenage son.
